About "On The Other Side"

I was talking to the Lord about loved ones that had passed on in my life.  A good friend, my Mother, my Grandson.....and I began to sing. As I sang, I realized that God was giving me a song about Heaven and I knew that this was the song He had told me about during an ealier prayer session.  The words began coming very quickly and I prayed that God would give me descriptive words about Heaven.  But God revealed to me that we on earth don't have adequate words that could capture the beauty and magnificence of Heaven.  So, instead of telling what Heaven was like, He told me what was not in Heaven.

Lyrics

On the other side - There’s another life
Though the body must die - Our spirit will thrive
On the other side

On the other side - There are no tears
No worry, no fear - No measure of years
On the other side

And, oh, we trust you Jesus
But death is hard to comprehend
Though we cry and grieve when a loved one leaves
We believe we’ll meet again

On the other side

There is no blame - No suffering, no shame
No longing for fame - On the other side

And, oh, we trust you Jesus
But death is hard to comprehend
Though we cry and grieve when a loved one leaves
We believe we’ll live again

On the other side

Are no regrets - Forgive and forget
No longer in debt - On the other side

On the other side - When it’s our time
In the blink of an eye - Our spirit arrives
On the other side

From the real Author:

1 Corinthians 15:51-53

Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed—in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.

Revelation 21:4

‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

Isaiah 65:20

“Never again will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days,
or an old man who does not live out his years; the one who dies at a hundred
  will be thought a mere child;

1 Corinthians 15:55-57

“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God!He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
