About "The Water"

This one came bubbling up from my spirit during one of my no-holds-barred praise sessions with the Lord....meaning.....I was alone with the Lord in my house, I went down to the basement and sang and worshipped before Him.  I took the idea to Greg at Full Circle Music Studio and he did his magic.

Lyrics

Tears filled my eyes I could not see

Preacher laid his healing hands on me

I cried, I renounced my life of sin

Sweet Jesus rescue me – Oh I’m coming in

I went down, down in the water, way down

Down in the muddy water

Went down to my watery grave

I came up, up from the water

Way up, from the dirty water

Came up - when I came up I was changed

Long years gone by – I still abide

And when I walk along that riverside

I smile and reminisce and pray

Remember my surrender, Lord, on that blessed day

I went down, down in the water, way down

Down in the muddy water

Went down with my sorrow and shame

I came up, up from the water

Way up, from the dirty water

Came up - when I came up I was changed

And I’ve gladly given up my life

To the one who walked on water

Turned water into wine

I went down, down in the water, way down

Down in the muddy water

Went down to my watery grave

I came up, up from the water

Way up, from the dirty water

Came up - when I came up I was changed

I went down – down  - down in the water

Way down – down in the muddy

Went down with my sorrow and shame

I came up, up from the water – way up

From the dirty water, came up

When I came up – I was changed

I was saved!
