About "Without You, Within Me"
I woke up one morning around 3:00am and jumped out of bed with a melody running through my spirit. I went downstairs and began praying and singing and this song began forming. I had to go to work, but the melody kept flowing in a non-stop loop through me. I told my boss I had to go home. I did, and God gave the song. I cried more that day than I ever have in my life...every time I thought I was through crying and sobbing, I would start up again......for the first time I realized that, without Jesus, I am.....nothing. I listen to this song nearly every day.

Lyrics
I know there is no good within me, without you
No grace, no mercy, no peace
No early release from the prison of sin
My Lord, now I can see from down on my knees
That I am nothing - Without you, within me
I know there is no hope within me, without you
No love, no freedom, no truth
And no gratitude for the great sacrifice
My Lord, now I can see from down on my knees
That I am nothing - Without you, within me
Oh, the spark you placed within my heart
Has become a roaring fire
Illuminating all the dark
Incinerating every lie
I know there is no life within me, without you
No breath, no pardon from death
No giving my best to the sweet Lamb of God
My Lord, now I can see from down on my knees
That I am nothing - Without you, within me
My Lord, now I can see from down on my knees
That I am nothing - Without you, within me
From the real Author:
Romans 7:18
For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.
Psalm 16:2
I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord;
apart from you I have no good thing."
John 15:5
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
1 Corinthians 15:19
If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.
Psalm 31:24
Be strong and take heart,
all you who hope in the Lord.
Acts 17:28
‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’
Jeremiah 20:9
But if I say, “I will not mention his word
or speak anymore in his name,”
his word is in my heart like a fire,
a fire shut up in my bones.
I am weary of holding it in;
indeed, I cannot.
Isaiah 43:25
"I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.
